Tasty food
We went to Waterford with our school during our study trip in Ireland and me and my friend found this place. The food was mouthwatering and the staff was delightful (there were two adorable girls when we came in). If we happen to come back to Waterford, we’re definitely eating here again!
Extremely disappointed with our order tonight. We ordered shortly before closing, but that is no excuse for serving food of this quality:
• Tuna was clearly spoiled/old: Darkened edges, completely discolored, and looked unappetizing (photos attached).
• Rice: Incredibly sour, over-vinedgared, and falling apart.
• Packaging & Service: Absolutely no chopsticks were provided. Soy sauce was spilled all over the container/sushi, making it impossible to pick up without getting covered in sauce.
• Wakame salad: Unpalatable — drowned in vinegar and heavily oversalted.
Dear customer thanks for review, the vinegar of sushi rice is mixed according to proportion required by health officer.this recipe requires the proportion of sushi rice must reach to certain PH level within four hours .every hour PH is different。our chef always not prepared much sushi rice at Nearly closed time. New mixed rice is more sour and not very sticky also with a little temperature.our fish is prepared and sold the day. We have temperature records delivery records prepared records also experation records here. The appearance of tuna you mentioned is rice with some temperature will be a little hot when you bring to home.as for seaweed salad I will respond to our chef. Sorry for bad experience here
Staff were very rude. They looked bored and didn’t want to serve us at all and we’re talking to each other standing around.
